How to fix the engine of my BWM after it overheated?

I was driving my BWM for a long time without taking a break and it suddenly overheated. Now the engine is making strange noises and the check engine light is on. What could be the issue and how can I fix it?

It sounds like your engine might be damaged due to the overheating. I would recommend taking it to a mechanic as soon as possible to avoid any further damage.

It's possible that the head gasket has blown and caused the engine to overheat. I suggest getting it checked by a professional mechanic to determine the root cause and get it fixed before it leads to bigger problems.

You might have also blown a radiator hose or had a leak in the cooling system, resulting in the engine overheating. Get it checked by a mechanic and make sure the entire cooling system is inspected and fixed if necessary.
