How to maintain proper tire pressure in the BMW 2 Series?

I recently purchased a BMW 2 Series and I am unsure on how often I should check and adjust the tire pressure. Can you provide some guidance on the recommended tire pressure for this vehicle and any tips for maintaining it?

It is important to regularly check the tire pressure, ideally once a month or before any long trips. The recommended tire pressure for the BMW 2 Series is usually between 30-35 PSI, but be sure to double check your specific model's manual for the exact number. To maintain the proper tire pressure, invest in a good tire pressure gauge and check the pressure when the tires are cold. Adjust the pressure accordingly, and remember to check the spare tire as well.

Another tip for maintaining tire pressure in the BMW 2 Series is to keep an eye on the temperature changes. Cold weather can cause a decrease in tire pressure, so be sure to check it more often during the winter months. Also, avoid overinflating the tires as this can cause uneven wear and decrease overall performance. As for a recommended brand of tire pressure gauge, I personally use and recommend the Accutire MS-4021B Digital Tire Pressure Gauge.
