How to reset the control display on a BMW 7 Series?

I have a 2018 BMW 740i with the latest iDrive 7.0 system. I accidentally changed the language to Japanese and now I can't understand anything on the screen. How can I reset the control display back to English?

You can reset the control display by pressing and holding the iDrive controller for 10 seconds. This will bring up a menu where you can choose the language and reset it back to English.
