How to reset the default settings in BMW XM?

I accidentally changed the default settings in my BMW XM and now I can't remember what they were. Is there a way to reset the default settings and start fresh?

You can also try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes and then reconnecting it. This will also reset the default settings in BMW XM.
