I recently had my oil changed in my BMW 6 Series, however, the oil change indicator still shows a warning. How can I reset it?
ReplyTo reset the oil change indicator, locate and press the 'BC' button on the dashboard until the service menu appears. Then, use the scroll button to find the 'Service Info' option and confirm with the 'BC' button. From there, scroll to the 'Reset' option and confirm again. Your oil change indicator should now be reset.
If the first method does not work, you can try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes and then reconnecting it. This should reset the indicator.
