How to reset the service light on a BMW X3?

I recently got my BMW X3 serviced, and now the 'service required' light is on. How can I reset it?

To reset the service light on your BMW X3, you will first need to turn on the ignition. Press and hold the odometer button until the reset arrow appears. Then, use the arrow buttons to select 'service info' and confirm by pressing the odometer button. Finally, use the arrow buttons again to select 'reset service' and confirm. The light should now be turned off.
