How to troubleshoot the DSC system on a BMW 6 Series?

I'm experiencing issues with the Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) system on my BMW 6 Series. Sometimes it activates unnecessarily and slows down the car, other times it doesn't kick in when it should. Any advice on how to troubleshoot and fix this issue?

I suggest checking the sensors and connectors related to the DSC system. They can often get dirty or corroded and cause malfunctions. Make sure they are all clean and secure.

Another common cause of DSC issues is worn out or damaged wheel speed sensors. If the sensors are faulty, they will not be able to accurately measure wheel speed, leading to false DSC activations. I recommend getting them checked and replaced if necessary.

You can also try resetting the DSC system by turning off the car, disconnecting the battery for a few minutes, and then reconnecting it. This may help to clear any error codes or glitches in the system.
