Is a V10 engine worth it in the BMW M6?

I am considering purchasing a BMW M6 and I am wondering if the V10 engine is worth the extra cost? I have heard mixed opinions about the engine's reliability and maintenance costs. Can anyone provide some insight?

As an owner of a BMW M6 with a V10 engine, I can say that it is absolutely worth it. While maintenance costs may be higher, the performance and sound of the engine are unmatched.
