Is the BMW i3 battery covered under warranty?

I have had my BMW i3 for about a year now and I am wondering if the battery is covered under warranty. I haven't experienced any issues with it yet, but I want to make sure I am covered in case anything happens. Can anyone provide some information on this?

Yes, the battery is covered under the warranty for up to 8 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first.

As long as you have properly maintained your BMW i3, the battery should be covered under the warranty.
