Is there a way to disable automatic engine start/stop on the BMW X1?

Every time I come to a stop, the engine of my BMW X1 turns off and it is very annoying. Is there a way to disable this feature?

Yes, you can disable automatic engine start/stop by pressing the button next to the gear shift.
