Should I opt for the optional carbon-ceramic brakes for my BMW M8?

I'm planning on purchasing a brand new BMW M8 and wondering if I should spend the extra money on the optional carbon-ceramic brakes. Are they worth the price? Will they significantly enhance the car's performance? Appreciate any advice on this matter.

As a BMW enthusiast, I highly recommend opting for the carbon-ceramic brakes. They may be expensive, but they provide superior stopping power and are perfect for track use. Plus, they look great behind those stunning M8 wheels.

I've had experience with both the standard brakes and the carbon-ceramic ones on my own M8. While the carbon-ceramic brakes do offer improved performance, it's not enough for everyday driving. Unless you plan on doing some serious track days, I suggest sticking with the standard brakes.
