I highly recommend the Brembo Carbon Ceramic brake pads for the BMW M8. They have excellent stopping power and are known for their longevity.

I have personally used the EBC Yellowstuff brake pads on my BMW M8 and have been very satisfied with their performance. They are a bit more affordable than Brembo's option.
