What are the differences between the BMW 8 Series models?

I am in the market for a new BMW 8 Series, but I am confused by the different options available. Can someone explain the differences between the models, such as the M850i, 840i, and Alpina B8?

The BMW 8 Series offers three different models: the M850i, 840i, and Alpina B8. The M850i is the most performance-oriented option, with a 523 horsepower V8 engine and upgraded suspension. The 840i is a more affordable option, with a 335 horsepower inline-six engine. The Alpina B8 is a limited edition model with a 600 horsepower V8 engine and bespoke interior and exterior design.

The main difference between the M850i and 840i is the engine. The M850i has a more powerful V8 engine, while the 840i has a more efficient inline-six engine. If you value performance, the M850i might be the better option for you. However, if you prioritize fuel economy, the 840i might be the way to go.
