I've been looking into purchasing a BMW X3 and noticed that many of the models have 'xDrive' listed as a feature. Can someone explain what this feature does and if it's worth the extra cost?
ReplyThe 'xDrive' feature is BMW's all-wheel drive system, which helps with traction and handling in various driving conditions. It's definitely worth the extra cost, especially if you live in an area with inclement weather.
I personally don't think the 'xDrive' feature is necessary unless you plan on doing a lot of off-roading. For regular city and highway driving, the standard rear-wheel drive should suffice.
I've had an X3 with 'xDrive' for a few years now and I love it. The added traction and stability makes me feel safer on the road, especially during the winter months.
