What is causing my BMW 3 Series to make grinding noises when turning?

I recently purchased a used BMW 3 Series and have noticed that it makes a grinding noise whenever I turn. It seems to be coming from the front wheels. What could be causing this issue and is it something I should be concerned about?

It sounds like you may have an issue with your wheel bearings. This can be a common issue with BMWs, especially if they have high mileage. It's important to get this checked out as soon as possible to prevent any further damage.

Another possible cause could be worn out brake pads. The grinding noise can occur when the pads are worn down and the metal backing is rubbing against the rotor. It's best to have a mechanic inspect your brakes to determine the exact cause.
