What is the best engine oil for the BMW M3?

I recently bought a used BMW M3 and I want to make sure I am using the best engine oil for my car. What type of oil do you recommend and how often should I change it?

After doing some research and consulting with several BMW mechanics, I would recommend using a synthetic oil with a viscosity grade of 5W-30 for your BMW M3. As for how often to change it, it is recommended to do so every 7,500-10,000 miles.

It really depends on your driving habits and conditions. If you do a lot of city driving or frequently drive in hot temperatures, you may want to change your oil more often. I personally use a synthetic oil with a viscosity of 5W-40 and change it every 5,000-7,000 miles.
