What is the cause of rattling noise in my BMW Z4?

I recently noticed a rattling noise in my BMW Z4 while driving at high speeds. It seems to be coming from the front of the car. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

The most common cause of rattling noise in a BMW Z4 is loose heat shields. Check underneath the car to see if any of the heat shields are loose, and secure them back in place if needed.
