AC fast charging uses a standard household outlet and is slower than DC fast charging. This is a good option if you have time to let your car charge overnight. DC fast charging requires a specialized charger and is much faster, typically able to charge your i4 to 80% in around 35 minutes. If you need a quick charge, DC is the way to go.
