What is the difference between the BMW 2 Series 230i and M240i?

I'm confused about which BMW 2 Series model I should choose. Can you explain the technical differences between the 230i and M240i?

The main difference between the BMW 2 Series 230i and M240i is the engine. The 230i has a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine while the M240i has a 3.0-liter 6-cylinder engine.

In addition to the engine, the M240i also has upgraded suspension and brakes, as well as a sportier exterior design.
