What is the difference between the BMW M8 and the M8 Competition?

I am torn between the two versions of the BMW M8. Can anyone explain the technical differences and which one is worth the extra cost?

The BMW M8 and M8 Competition have the same base engine, but the M8 Competition has been tuned to produce an additional 17 horsepower. The Competition also has a stiffer suspension and a limited-slip differential, providing better performance on the track.
