What is the function of the Dynamic Stability Control in the BMW X6?

I've noticed the Dynamic Stability Control button in my BMW X6, but I'm not sure what it does. Can you explain its purpose and how it works?

The Dynamic Stability Control system is designed to help keep your vehicle stable and in control during dangerous driving situations. It uses sensors to monitor the movements of your X6 and automatically applies braking or reduces engine power to help prevent skidding and loss of control.

I've found that the Dynamic Stability Control is most useful in slippery road conditions, such as snow or rain. It works by detecting when your wheels are slipping and making adjustments to keep your car on the intended path. It's a great safety feature to have and I always keep it turned on.

One tip when driving with Dynamic Stability Control is to avoid making sudden and sharp turns, especially at high speeds. This can cause the system to kick in and reduce engine power, which can feel a bit jarring. Instead, try to slow down and make smoother turns to maintain control of your X6.
