What is the recommended engine oil for a BMW 7 Series?

I recently bought a BMW 7 Series and I'm not sure what type of engine oil to use. I heard different recommendations from different people. Can someone advise me which engine oil is best suited for my car?

The recommended engine oil for a BMW 7 Series is BMW TwinPower Turbo Longlife-12 FE x1 engine oil.

I've been using Castrol EDGE 5W-30 in my BMW 7 Series and I find it works great. Highly recommended!
