What should I do if my BMW i5's battery won't hold a charge?

I've noticed that my BMW i5's battery doesn't seem to hold a charge as well as it used to. It's only a few years old, so I expected it to last longer. Is there anything I can do to prolong my battery's life?

First, check your driving habits. If you frequently make short trips or use a lot of high-power features, this can wear down your battery faster. Try to drive for longer periods of time and limit your use of features like heated seats or air conditioning.

You should also make sure to regularly maintain your battery, such as cleaning the terminals and checking the water levels if it's a lead-acid battery. And if your battery is approaching its lifespan, consider replacing it before it dies completely.

Another tip is to avoid using accessories like phone chargers when your car is turned off. This can drain your battery even when the car is not in use.
