What should I do if my BMW X1's engine is overheating?

I've noticed that my BMW X1's engine has been getting hot pretty quickly. What could be causing this and how can I prevent it?

First, check your coolant levels and make sure they are at the appropriate level. If they are low, top off the coolant and monitor the levels. If the levels continue to decrease, there may be a leak in the system that should be fixed immediately.

It's possible that your radiator may be clogged with dirt and debris, causing your engine to overheat. Try cleaning out the radiator and see if that improves the cooling system.
