What should I do if my BMW Z4's engine overheats?

I have noticed that the engine temperature of my BMW Z4 has been increasing more than usual lately. What could be causing this and how can I prevent the engine from overheating?

First, check your coolant levels and make sure they are at the recommended level. If they are low, top it off with a mixture of equal parts water and coolant. Also, check if there are any leaks in your coolant system.
