Why does my BMW 1 Series make a strange noise while turning?

I recently noticed a strange noise coming from my BMW 1 Series whenever I make a turn, what could be causing this and how can I fix it?

It could be an issue with the power steering pump, I suggest getting it checked by a professional mechanic. I had a similar issue with my BMW and it turned out to be a faulty power steering pump.
