Why does my BMW 5 Series have a rough idle?

I've noticed that my BMW 5 Series has a rough idle when I start it up. It seems to smooth out after a few minutes of driving, but I'm concerned that this could be a sign of a bigger issue. Is this something I should be worried about and how can I fix it?

One common cause of rough idle in a BMW 5 Series is dirty fuel injectors. They can become clogged with dirt and debris, causing them to spray fuel unevenly. I would recommend getting them cleaned to see if that improves the idle.

Another possible cause could be a faulty oxygen sensor. It measures the amount of oxygen in the exhaust and helps regulate the fuel and air mixture. If it's not working properly, it can cause rough idling. You may need to replace the sensor to fix the issue.
