I've noticed that when I charge my BMW i3, it only reaches 80% charge before stopping. Is there a reason for this and should I be concerned?
ReplyThis is actually a feature of the BMW i3 called 'battery level management'. By limiting the charge to 80%, the battery's lifespan is extended and it also allows for faster charging times. You can change this setting in the iDrive menu if desired.
It could also be caused by a faulty charger or power source. I recommend bringing your car to a certified BMW technician for further diagnosis.
