Why does my BMW M3 engine make a knocking noise?

Every time I start my BMW M3, the engine makes a loud knocking noise. I'm concerned as to why this is happening and if it can cause damage to my car in the long run.

The knocking noise could be a sign of low oil pressure or a failing oil pump. You should get it checked by a mechanic immediately to avoid any potential damage to your engine.

It's possible that there is an issue with your fuel injectors. Try using a fuel injector cleaner to see if that helps with the knocking noise.

You may also want to check your spark plugs and ignition coils. If they are worn out, they can cause your engine to make knocking noises.
