Why does my BMW M6 produce excessive smoke from the exhaust?

I have noticed that my BMW M6 is producing a lot of smoke from the exhaust. It used to be just a small amount, but now it is thick and dark. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

There could be several reasons for excessive smoke from the exhaust, such as a clogged air filter, worn out piston rings, or a malfunctioning catalytic converter. I recommend taking your car to a certified mechanic for a thorough diagnosis.

One possible cause for this issue could be an oil leak into the engine. This can be caused by a faulty gasket or seal. I suggest getting your car checked by a professional mechanic to avoid any further damage.

If you have been neglecting regular oil changes, it is possible that your engine is burning excess oil. This can lead to thick and dark smoke from the exhaust. Make sure to follow the manufacturer's recommended maintenance schedule for your BMW M6.
