Why does my BMW X3 shake when I brake?

I recently noticed that my BMW X3 shakes when I brake at high speeds. What could be causing this issue and how can it be fixed?

This could be due to warped brake rotors, which can happen over time. I would recommend getting them checked and potentially replaced by a mechanic.

Another potential cause could be worn brake pads. If they are too thin, they can cause shaking when braking. Consider having them replaced.

It's also possible that there is an issue with your suspension system. Have a professional inspect and potentially replace any worn out components.
