The ticking noise is a common issue with the BMW M6. It is usually caused by the lifters or valvetrain and is not something to be worried about. However, if the noise becomes louder or constant, it is best to have it checked by a mechanic.

I had the same issue with my BMW M6 and took it to the dealership. They said it was due to low oil pressure and recommended changing the oil more frequently. Since then, the ticking noise has disappeared.

I've been driving a BMW M6 for years now and have never experienced any ticking noise from the engine. It's possible that your particular car may have a faulty part. I suggest getting it checked by a professional.
