Why is my BMW 1 Series leaking oil?

I have noticed that my BMW 1 Series is leaking oil and I am not sure what could be causing it. I have checked the oil level and it is constantly decreasing. What could be the problem and how can I fix it?

Hello Alex, leaking oil is not a good sign and should be addressed right away. It could be caused by a variety of factors such as a worn out oil seal or a damaged oil pan gasket. I recommend taking your car to a BMW dealership or a trusted mechanic to diagnose the issue and fix it professionally.

Hi Alex, oil leaks can also be caused by loose or damaged oil drain plug. I suggest checking the plug and tightening it if necessary. If the plug is damaged, it should be replaced. If the issue persists, I suggest taking your car to a mechanic for further inspection.

Hi there Alex, another possible cause of oil leaks is a clogged or damaged oil filter. If your oil filter is full of debris or damaged, it can cause oil to leak from the engine. I recommend checking and replacing your oil filter regularly to avoid this issue.
