Why is my BMW 3 Series making a whining noise while turning?

I recently noticed that my BMW 3 Series is making a whining noise whenever I make sharp turns. What could be causing this issue and how can I fix it?

This could be caused by a faulty power steering pump or low power steering fluid levels. I would recommend checking your power steering fluid and topping it off if necessary.

It could also be caused by worn out CV joints. I suggest taking your car to a mechanic for a thorough inspection and possible replacement of the CV joints if needed.

Another potential cause could be a worn out or loose belt in the power steering system. I advise having a professional check and replace the belt if necessary to prevent any further issues.
