Why is my BMW 3 Series making a whirring noise when I accelerate?

I recently bought a BMW 3 Series and noticed that it makes a strange whirring noise when I accelerate. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

This could be caused by a worn out serpentine belt. I suggest getting it checked and replaced if needed. Don't wait too long as it could lead to bigger problems.

It could be due to a faulty wheel bearing. Get your wheels checked and replace the bearing if necessary. It's important to address this issue early on so it doesn't cause further damage.
