Why is my BMW i8 making a clicking noise while turning?

I noticed that my BMW i8 is making a clicking noise every time I turn the steering wheel. It seems to be coming from the front of the car. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

It is likely that the clicking noise is coming from your CV joint. This is a common issue with BMW i8s. I would recommend taking it to a certified mechanic to have it inspected and replaced if necessary.

Another possible cause could be a worn out strut mount. This can cause a clicking noise when turning. I suggest having your mechanic check the strut mount and replace it if needed.
