Why is my BMW M2 making a rattling noise during acceleration?

I recently noticed that my BMW M2 is making a rattling noise whenever I accelerate. It seems to be coming from the engine area. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

It is possible that there is a loose component, such as a heat shield, in the engine area. Check for any loose bolts or fasteners and tighten them if necessary.
