I have noticed that whenever I press down on the accelerator, my BMW M6 makes a loud rattling noise. It seems to be coming from the engine area. Does anyone have any ideas on what could be causing this and how to fix it?
ReplyIt is possible that the noise is caused by a loose or damaged exhaust component. You may want to take your car to a mechanic to have it checked and repaired if necessary.
Another possibility could be a problem with the spark plugs. I would recommend having them checked and replaced if needed.
Make sure to also check the condition of your engine mounts, as a worn out mount can also cause rattling noises when accelerating. If needed, have them replaced.
