Why is my BMW M6's engine overheating?

I've noticed that while driving my BMW M6, the engine temperature has been rising significantly. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

First, check the coolant levels and make sure they are at the proper level. Low coolant can cause the engine to overheat. If it's at the right level, then it could be an issue with the radiator or cooling system.
