Why is my BMW M7 making a rattling noise?

I have noticed recently that my BMW M7 has been making a strange rattling noise whenever I accelerate. It seems to be coming from the engine area. What could be causing this?

It is possible that the rattling noise is caused by a loose or worn out belt in your engine. This could be easily fixed by tightening or replacing the belt.
