Why is my BMW X1 making a clicking noise when I turn the wheel?

I recently noticed a clicking noise coming from my BMW X1 when I turn the wheel. It seems to be more noticeable when I am turning at low speeds. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

This clicking noise could be caused by a variety of things such as worn out CV joints, faulty wheel bearings, or loose suspension components. It's best to take your BMW to a certified mechanic to diagnose and fix the issue before it leads to further damage.

It's possible that the clicking noise is coming from the steering column itself. This could be due to a worn out steering rack or a loose steering shaft. A mechanic will need to inspect and potentially replace these components to fix the issue.
