Why is my BMW X3 making a clicking noise?

I recently purchased a BMW X3 and have noticed that it makes a clicking noise when I start the engine and when I accelerate. Is this something I should be concerned about?

Most likely, the clicking noise is coming from the engine's valve train. This is a common issue with BMW X3 models and is usually caused by wear and tear on the rocker arms. I recommend bringing your car to a certified BMW mechanic to have it checked and potentially replaced.
