I recently purchased a brand new BMW X8 and noticed that the engine makes a clunking noise when I start the car and accelerate. It stops after the car warms up. Is this normal or should I be concerned?
ReplyIt is not normal for a brand new car to make a clunking noise. You should bring it to a BMW dealership and have them inspect it. It could be a faulty engine mount or other issue. Don't wait until it gets worse, get it checked out now.
I had a similar issue with my BMW X8 and it turned out to be a loose exhaust component. It's an easy fix and nothing to worry about. Still, I recommend taking it to a BMW dealership to have them take a look.
