Why is my BMW Z4 engine making a clicking noise?

I just got a BMW Z4 and I noticed that my engine is making a clicking noise. Is this normal or should I be concerned? I want to make sure my car is in top shape.

A clicking noise could indicate a problem with your valves or lifters. It's always a good idea to have your car checked by a mechanic to be sure.

E

This could also be caused by low oil levels or dirty oil. Check your oil level and schedule an oil change if needed.

S

If the clicking noise is accompanied by a loss of power or strange vibrations, it could be a more serious issue like a worn out camshaft. Have your car inspected by a professional as soon as possible.
