I recently purchased a BMW i8 and have noticed that the acceleration seems to be slower than what I've heard from other owners. I've checked the battery charge and tire pressure, but everything seems to be in order. What could be causing this issue?

It's possible that your BMW i8 is set to EcoPro mode, which prioritizes fuel efficiency rather than performance. Try switching to Sport mode to see if that improves the acceleration.
