Why is the BMW iX3 making a clicking noise when I accelerate?

I recently purchased a BMW iX3 and have noticed that it makes a clicking noise whenever I accelerate. It seems to be coming from the engine or transmission area. Is this something I should be concerned about?

Hi John, congratulations on your new BMW iX3! The clicking noise that you are experiencing is most likely an indication of a worn out CV joint. These are responsible for transferring power from the transmission to the wheels and can often make a clicking noise when they are worn out. It's best to have this checked by a mechanic as soon as possible to prevent any further damage to your vehicle.

Hey John, it's normal for the BMW iX3 to make a slight clicking noise when accelerating. This is due to the electric motor adjusting its power output to match your driving style. However, if the noise is excessive or continuous, it's best to bring your vehicle to a BMW dealership for a thorough inspection.
