Hi James, there are a few potential reasons why your BMW M4's engine temperature is rising abnormally. One possibility could be a malfunctioning thermostat, which can cause the engine to overheat. Another possibility could be a faulty water pump, which can also lead to high engine temperatures. It's important to get your car checked by a qualified mechanic to diagnose and fix the issue. But in the meantime, try to avoid putting too much strain on the engine and make sure to regularly check your coolant levels.

Hi James, I had a similar issue with my BMW M4 and it turned out to be a clogged radiator. Debris and dirt can build up in the radiator over time and prevent proper cooling, resulting in high engine temperatures. I suggest taking your car to a trusted mechanic and having them clean or replace the radiator. Additionally, make sure to regularly clean the radiator yourself to prevent this issue from happening again.
