I recently purchased a BMW M6 and noticed that the engine is making a ticking noise. Is this normal? Should I be concerned?

It is not uncommon for BMW engines to make ticking noises. This could be due to the fuel injectors or the valves, which may produce a ticking sound as they operate. However, if the noise is excessive or differs from the usual ticking, it may indicate a problem and should be checked by a mechanic.

If you frequently drive your BMW M6 at high speeds or with aggressive driving, the ticking noise could be a result of engine wear and tear. Make sure to follow the recommended maintenance schedule and monitor the noise to see if it improves.
