Why is the BMW X7's rearview camera not working?

I recently purchased a BMW X7 and noticed that the rearview camera is not working. I have checked the settings and everything seems to be in order. What could be causing this issue and how can I fix it?

First, make sure that the camera is not blocked by dirt or debris. You can clean it with a soft cloth or compressed air. If that doesn't solve the issue, it could be a problem with the camera itself and you may need to have it replaced.
