Why is the brake pedal in my BMW X2 vibrating?

I recently purchased a BMW X2 and I noticed that the brake pedal sometimes vibrates when I apply pressure. What could be causing this and is it something I should be concerned about?

The vibration in your brake pedal could be caused by warped brake rotors. This is a common issue in BMW X2s and can be easily fixed by having the rotors resurfaced or replaced.

Another possible cause of the vibration could be worn brake pads. As brake pads wear down, they can cause the pedal to vibrate. It's important to regularly check your brake pads and replace them as needed.

In some cases, the vibration could be due to a faulty ABS system. If you notice the vibration when going over bumps or in wet conditions, it's worth having your ABS system checked by a mechanic.
